This is the [FI] Assault Drone (Land Version). It uses innovative scripting methods to bring you a highly realistic experience. It is Second Life's first Remote Control Assault Drone. It is excellent for a multitude of activities. Perfect for SWAT teams looking to scout out and attack some criminals members hiding in an abandoned building, or a military unit looking to find and destroy an opposing team. Or, for a neighbor looking to find out what the people next door are up to. Its uses are unlimited.
Features:
- A highly detailed, low prim, fully mesh assault drone.
- High powered, fully automatic machine gun turret.
- Option camera view from the drone's perspective, allowing you to be on one side a sim, and control the drone that is on the entirely opposite side, keeping you safe and deadly.
- Optional health system that destroys the drone if it takes too much damage. Works with all weapons/weapon systems.
- Low lag and low land impact, without compensating for features.
- [FI] Assault Drone Control Hud, allowing you to enable the health system, drone camera view, and release controls from the drone if you wish to cease operating it.
- Additionally, if you wish to modify the drones textures for your group/military unit/etc, IM me and I will send you the textures or I can do it for you.

Setting It Up:
- Designed to be extremely user friendly, it has a very simple setup.
- Open the box with the drone inside, and copy it into your inventory.
- From your inventory, rez it onto the ground.
- Click the drone, and accept the two permissions requests. One is for taking the drones controls, and the other is to accept the hud attachment.
- To move forward, left, or right, simple use the WASD or arrow keys.
- To fire hold down on the left mouse button.
- To activate/deactivate the health system on the drone, use the buttons on the hud.
- To activate the camera view, click the corresponding button on the hud.
- To release controls, click the corresponding button on the hud.

Wanted to add a simple health script but it's no mod and completely locked even though it's completely stated in both picture and ad as modify
Great concept that needs a little more work.
It looks awesome, and the way it's meant to function is great. However there's issues with the vehicle driving. While stationary, if you try to turn a tiny bit, it almost completely turns around. It also tends to slide alot, which is odd for a tank. And for some reason the back/brake button didn't work for me. But some of this might just be SL issues.
Additionally it would really improve the fun if the shots actually made a small particle explosion on impact with anything physical.

Exactly what I've been looking for... and I've been looking for quite a while! Props to you, Mr. Fallen.
Very unique idea
This drone is a very unique idea and a lot of fun to chase friends around with. I really like the feature about controling the drone through it's own camera eye view, however I would have to admit that the drone is extremely hard to aim. A slower turn radius upon the operator's command would make aiming in a fast paced combat environment a little more easier, along with some kind of reticle feature. As far as locomotion is concerned, the drone is reasonably fast, however I had noticed that it does not navigate inclines too well, tending to roll backwards as if on a slippery surface. Tactically, it is probably best for flat land scenarios.
All in all, a great product. Could use a little bit of polishing up, but a lot of fun nonetheless.
Interesting, needs lotta work
Okay, cool concept, but poor execution; for one, the controls are hella twitchy, as in, I tap left, and I spin wildly. Second, the viewpoint thing needs a overlay or a aiming mechanism so I can steer and shoot the damn thing properly.
In short, with a fair bit of work on the controls, this'd be awesome. As it is.... it isn't.
Pretty Cool
Im pretty new to second life, just switching over from console games like Battlefield and Call of Duty. I am into military gear and combat, and so I chanced upon this. Its a really good buy, and you cant really go wrong with it. Its just what I was looking for. Cool product, great price, and Ill be back for more.
