FISHING - GH ANIMATION - FULLPERM
See item in Second LifePoorly done
I was looking for a fishing animation and this was only 20L, so I took a chance on it. I can not see myself ever using this. First, you have to turn off your AO for it to work. Second, the animation has the right hand casting AND reeling. If you cast with your right hand you reel with your left, or else transfer the rod to the left hand so you can reel with the right. No! This animation has you casting and then reeling with the same hand holding the rod. Avoid.
Animation Priority too low
This is an ok animation I suppose. Its priority 2 though, so you cannot wear an AO/sit in a chair with other animations while using it. Stance is super wide legged, and not suitable for females, imo.
perfect
very happy with this animation as i use the toddleedoo body and many animations cause my arms to deform but this one works perfectly i love it!!!!! and its a great price
Let me join my voice to those who are baffled with low ratings of this most excellent product!
There is absolutely nothing "wrong" or "limited" in this animation! It's very well done, with the hands in the correct positioning, the correct amount of pausing between each whipping of the rod... everything perfectly choreographed and the original source was most certainly someone in a bodysuit (or at least that kind of sophisticated software which uses cameras from different angles to capture almost perfect animation data from a live actor). The result is close to perfection.
Sure, some people might wish for _three_ animations for the price of just one, but that's a stupid claim to make. Just click on the tab for contents here on the marketplace: it clearly shows it's just one animation, not more. So, giving bad reviews because you "expected" to get more than one animation is, plainly said, stupid. You can buy so many more from Grossherzog if you wish. L$20 is a *bargain*.
Also, for those complaining that "the animation is useless for placing inside items". That, my friends, is a PURE LIE. You *can* use it for that purpose -- it *is* full perms, just as announced here, and whatever else you hear/read is simply FALSE.
What I think is that someone grabbed a rod freebie and thought that it would be a great idea to place a cool animation inside and start selling it for a profit, ripping off the freebie author. Sure, that happens every day, and the ToS is shady about that. *If* both items are full perms, you *can* technically do that, if the authors don't explicitly forbid it. Grossherzog certainly sells these animations with the intention of allowing these to be used in our own stuff. But if you have a freebie rod which you did not build yourself, even if it's a freebie, or not free but cheap and copy-able, well, that's no guarantee that you *can* place the animation inside! Permissions, my friend, permissions. Learn about those first, and only complain afterwards.
TL;DR -- this animation is fantastic, it's ultra-cheap, and full perms. 'nuff said.
Fantastic Animation for the Price
I have no idea what the reviewer who gave 1 star could be talking about - this is obviously one animation and of course you can use it in your products - I just put it in a beach lounger I'm making. It looks great, the hand motion winding the reel looks incredibly realistic.
GREAT ANIMATION
Well thought and represents a cast and fishing well. I have no idea what those other reviews are all about as I am a builder and a fairly respected one at that. Needless to say, I am very critical of what goes into my stuff. The size was more inline with a male avatar but that is probably who will use this most. Overall, I would have been happy at 10 times this cost or more but at $20?? this is a bargain and then some.
