As seems not everyone know....
This is a painted NOT a carved bench, it is an exact replica of a REAL LIFE antique bench.
So, to be more precise, the mesh is very simple and plain.
This kind of benches have been very popular through out the 1700 till early years of 1900.
They were painted with a high artistic standard to mimic carved wood.

I stand corrected
I left a bad review, blissfully ignorant of the fact the bench looks exactly the way it is supposed to. The creator was kind enough to send me a message pointing out my lack of knowledge. This is a painted bench, not a carved one...much like a trompe l'oeil, it is painted to look as if it was carved. In which case this is a fine example of this style and the texture is just wonderful I will use this bench even if only to remind me of how short sighted I was in this case!
