Bad reviews because some people just want to click and build a world magically.
These stairs are excellent.
They look sharp, they ARE walkable (look a couple previous comments on how to, which is literally two clicks), and can be edited.
The set comes with two basic textures (white) as shown, and also with left and right versions (both labeled as left). There's an extra high LI version, but you won't need it.
Absolutely worth the price.

Exactly what I was looking for and perfect fit with a tiny adjustment.
I do have to say that without Mararia's comment on how to make them walkable I would have been cursing too. I do suggest that you put a note in with the product explaining this to all as many of us are just "basic" builders.
GREAT! Would be better if more options
GO TO YOUR EDIT MENU, GO TO THE FEATURES TAB, CHANGE THE PHYSICS SHAPE TYPE FROM *CONVEX HULL* TO *PRIM*. Good lord, these bad reviews are based on purely not knowing how to build. Bought these and tried them out, there were 2 versions, facing opposite directions and each were included as a low Li version. There was a high Li version too that faced only one direction without a high Li counterpart. Not sure why but also not sure why anyone would want the 10Li version over the 2Li version in the first place. They are gorgeous and completely walkable so long as you have the physics type set to *PRIM*. I also could not climb them before correcting this. It's just one of those things you have to know when it comes to building, like how adding materials to an object can set the texture to *alpha blending* even if there's no alpha in your texture. Not sure why that is, just weird SL server stuff. Occasionally meshes get reset to *Convex Hull*, especially when linking and unlinking a bunch, occasionally *alpha masked* textures lose their cutoffs or swap back to *alpha blending* cuz SL... just things you have to remember when building. These stares are amazing! There are even 3 separate faces which are thoughtfully divided and make it really easy to customize! My only complaint is the sheer size! To get the height I need, these stairs stretch VERY far which alters what I am able to do with my build. If there were a more spiraled option, where the second set was bisected to the same height as the first with a second platform, then a third set of stairs, that would fit much better. I'll be trying to make these work but may have to search for different stairs for this reason. All in all, though, I would totally use them if I could!
CANT WALK ON THEM!
I just bought this stair (just 1, not 2 (left/right) as mentioned in the ad), and its a waste of linden.
You cant walk on them, so its useless.
I'll IM the creator, if he can solve it, I'll re-write this review.
