This product is ok though not perfect.
It gets delivered with "click to" set to "buy" instead of "touch". This could cause a lot of head-scratching for SL beginners or edit-shy residents. Didn't bother me for long, but I hope it gets fixed soon.
Strangely enough, the first texture loaded on rezzing the rug is a non-modern persian rug style texture. Nothing wrong with it, but it's not in the product pictures. However, once you start loading the textures that are in the script, this persian style one will not recur, and all the ones in the pictures seem to be present.
There is no menu, and therefore, no descriptive names for the textures. You must click the rug to scroll through the textures. This makes it impossible, out of the box, to compare two textures by switching quickly between them, or to quickly get to the one you want. My solution is to save multiple copies, each loaded with a texture I like, and to give these copies descriptive names (such as "concentric squares worn", etc).
The textures are well chosen and generally nice... as long as you do not zoom in too close. They get fuzzy up close, being all 256 x 512 resolution. This is not terrible, and will cause less lag than larger formats. Just know it's not the best quality possible. (It also means it will become terrible more quickly if you need to stretch the rug, but at the default 5 x 5 it's ok).
256 x 512 suggests the textures were made to be rectangular. However, almost all of them look perfectly fine in a square format. When there is a border it is of consistent width on all four sides. There are exceptions but very few, including one rug with a texture defect on the edge. But do not let this put you off, because you will find plenty of usable textures here (there are 16 in total, and only 2 that I would not consider using).
So it could have been better, but it's a good purchase. I needed one square rug, and am now spoilt for choice, at a reasonable price. Useful product, thank you!
