Open all of the targa files in the kit by double clicking on them.
Allow all textures to completely load so they are crisply displayed.
To save each texture to edit in the program of your choice simply do the following:
Go To File (Upper Left Hand Corner)
Save Texture As... (Middle of the Drop-Down Menu)
SAVE to a folder in your computer
