[Fairport] Butterfly Swords
=======================
Real Life History and Specs:

Type of weapon: Sword (typically dual wielded)
Origin: China
Time period: Unknown; popularity vastly increased post-WW2 however

The exact era butterfly swords originated from is unknown but it is known that these weapons are distinctively from southern China with no real reference to them outside of southern China dating before the post World War Two era. Butterfly swords are traditionally wielded two at a time, the hooked rear portion of the hilt designed to grapple enemy weapons and thus block attacks making the weapon good for both defensive and offensive purposes. The blade of a butterfly sword is generally about 11.5 inches, about the length of most people's forearms; these weapons were designed as such so that they could be concealed in loose sleeves or boots. Butterfly swords became a more popular choice for those studying armed martial arts in China after World War Two because persecution of martial artists in southern China during the Chinese Cultural Revolution pushed many trainers and their students into hiding in the north where the influence of the predominately southern region weapon spread. Today modern production butterfly swords, decoration grade as well as functional, are produced for martial artists and collectors alike and can be purchased for a few hundred dollars thus the weapons legacy lives on to this day.

Function / Command

**PLEASE MAKE SURE BOTH SWORDS ARE WORN***

**Please note, if you wish to damage, make sure you are enabled in damage mode; ie: if you are in push mode switch to damage by using the 'enable damage mode' command. There are three settings for damage once you have enabled this mode: low, high, fatal. Damage is determined by the mass of your enemy. That's right, the larger or smaller your enemy avatar's mass alters the amount of damage one can do to them in a Linden damage zone. On average, however, low does about 7-13% damage on a hit, high does 30-40% on a hit, and fatal does 80-100% damage on a hit.
