Sold as a small caliber, light recoil, yet accurate pocket-sized self defense revolver on the civilian market, the Iver Johnson Hammerless was in production from 1894 to 1942. Three models were produced, each almost exactly the same but with new features as models progressed (ie: adding a safety mechanism on the second model, etc.) These revolvers were sold extremely cheap and there were several choices of barrel length, grip style, and caliber. Many survive to this day and due to the large quantities circulated in the past, are available still quite cheap and fairly common. It is, however, dangerous to fire some models as age and wear have certainly taken a toll on the average sample, though some exist in almost pristine condition to this day. Only the third and last model produced is capable of firing cartridges packed with smokeless powder, the previous two models being loaded with black powder and thus can't withstand as much pressure making it dangerous to operate if one is not absolutely sure the model type. Because the Iver Johnson Hammerless is cheap, (though its ammunition uncommon in present times,) they are often found on petty criminals such as muggers and gangbangers. None the less, a decent condition example with proper ammunition and care would still serve to this day as a competent concealed carry weapon for self defense.

Melee: press a and d or left and right
*Note: this must be done very quickly, both keys pressed at the same time, effective range for melee is approximately 3 meters.

Firing: To fire the gun, simply enter mouse view mode and left mouse click. Holding down in automatic will fire until the left mouse button is released, semi automatic will fire once per mouse click.
