The L85A1 assault rifle is a bull-pup design and localized version of the Armalite AR-18. In the 70's to 80's, Sterling of England produced the Armalite AR-18 assault rifle under license which quickly drew the attention of the SAS and other UK armed forces... this lead to the small scale adoption of the AR-18 for testing purposes. Eventually the AR-18 itself was reworked around an already existent concept small-scaliber bull-pup style assault rifle Enfield was working on which lead to the first production model dubbed the SA-80. It was soon put to testing with the English army and redesignated the L85A1. This model was not without it's faults however as due to poor production materials in early models UK forces during the first Gulf War encountered much jamming as well as magazine wells continuously breaking as to not keeping clips in place during use. The weapon was redesigned slightly to fix these problems and the L85A2 was released onto the arms market and immediately replaced the L85A1 model. The L85A2-C is little more than a shortened carbine version of the L85A2 designed for paratroopers, side-line troops, vehicle crews, and anyone who needed a slightly more compact version. Outside of the United Kingdom, the L85 series has seen use with Bolivian and Jamaican security forces.

Melee: press a and d or left and right
*Note: this must be done very quickly, both keys pressed at the same time, effective range for melee is approximately 3 meters.

Firing: To fire the gun, simply enter mouse view mode and left mouse click. Holding down in automatic will fire until the left mouse button is released, semi automatic will fire once per mouse click.
