Well... this started off as your standard streetlight. Now, I wanted something different for a large garden I was building, so I wanted something attractive but not overly ornate. I wanted it to turn on an off with a click. I wanted the light to be bright or dim depending on where in the garden it was. And I wanted it to flicker.

What I did was to build it in several parts. The pole has two goosenecks because I like the grace of those compared to lights-on-a-stick.

Then I built the base. Something simple, since that was not to be the focal point. But I wanted to be able to change it.

Then I added what I call the "lantern cage". I called it that because that's what I called it when I made it for my Fire Fountain, and I thought it would be nice to coordinate the two.

Then i added the glass light inside the cages on each side. Looks good. Just what I wanted for my garden.

I clicked the light to turn it on. It flamed. What the heck? Darn. I forgot that my Fire Fountain was called that for a reason. Before I deleted that script, I admired the flame. I love this flame. Very realistic. I liked it so much that I decided to leave it.

Now, here's how it works. Click the lamppost anywhere and a menu appears. You can turn the light on and off, set it to go on automatically at night, and adjust intensity, glow, fall off, and radius. You can set the light according to your wishes.

Touch each lantern briefly to turn the flame on and off. Touch and hold for a menu. Here you can adjust the size of the flame. I have mine set to a low flicker. You can also make it blaze, which would be good for Hades role playing.

The streetlight fixture is copy mod. Put them all over if you like. Stretch them. Color them.

This was a fun build for me. I enjoyed this one. Have fun and amaze your friends.
