The changing colour bricks add animation and show the fire is on and working. The colour changing bricks represent coloured bulbs behind the logs.
Colours slowly fade into each other, not jerky.
Made thin for less bulk.

You can,
Use little white boxes to resize up or down.
You can change / resize any texture or prim.
Make it thicker (from the back only) and move the controls on top.
You can remove the script from the logs prim, click on white in colour picker to return to natural colour.
You can put the colour changing script in the logs prim (do not edit the script, it's set at the right speed)
You can remove the script and have no animation.
Touch controls to hear crackling sound (on/off).
