A very realistic fish. Animating sculpt and particle bubbles. Ideal companion for mermaids and sub-mariners.
Due to popular demand (complaints) the bubble script has been rewritten to only blow bubbles under water.

One thing that drives me crazy in SL are the vendors who claim their product is modifiable when really only the physical parts are modifiable and the scripts and animations can't be touched. This avatar really IS modifiable, and that makes a huge difference to me.

The other reviewer questioned whether 480L was a good value and I agree, for my purposes it's a little pricey. But it helps that I found all the components to be designed well, with the possible exception of the bubble blowing thing which (again, I agree) should have an "off" button. Saying the script "only blows bubbles underwater" is a bit misleading. What it does is stop when under 19.5 meters, which may be the water level in a lot of common places but I'm not entirely sure that's always true. In any case, I actually LIKE having the bubbles on everywhere. It's a damn fish, it's SUPPOSED to blow bubbles. It's kind a total waste that wonderful particle script and then only use it where, frankly, most of us aren't ever going to go.

Because the avatar is truly modifiable, if you know anything about scripts, it's easy enough to edit it and set it work however you like (I just turned mine on unconditionally) or remove the script and thus never blow bubbles at all. The best solution, for the sake of people who don't want to bother learning about editing objects and scripts, would be a button. Or maybe just a script that toggles ON/OFF by having the owner touch the fish body.

All that said, 5 stars. This really is a well done piece of work!

i'm a bit dissapointed with this. and only because there is no way to shut off the particles. yes its a desent looking fish avatar. an u can mod da size to a more realistic size. but there is no way to shut off the bubble particles. it looks weird blowing bubbles when i'm not even inside the water. infact, i get alot of other people saying the same thing. i wish there was a way to shut them off when i'm not in the water. that's the only issue i really have with it. but its a bit of a big issue, considering what i paid for it. an av like this is only really worth 200, or 250. an that's with the added ability to shut off the bubbles, which this does'not have.
