This is a pretty simple avatar that you just wear the folder click the chair and you will get a drop down menu in menu you will find:

2 buttons

Av

hats

av is the button that takes you to the avatar selection with avatar you get 2 avatars in one.

av button gives you

norod = avatar with no fishing rod

wrod = avatar with fishing rod

norod give you

fishy = this is the fishy fisherman avatar no fishing rod

nofishy = this is the empty chair avatar no fishing rod

wrod botten gives you

fishy = this is fishy fisherman avatar with fishing rod

nofishy = this is empty chair avatar with fishing rod

hats button gives you

wrod

baseball hat

cap&scarf

cowboy hat

tophat

nohat

and it is the same for wrod button

i set it up this way so you can be eather avatar. the fishy fisherman or the empty chair. have a fishing rod if you are just hanging out with your friends and not useing a system. or if you have system and wish to use it you can use with no fishing rod.

The Avatar with no fishing rod is to be used with one of the many scripted fishing systems in SL. Just add your rod and edit it to move it to the rod holder of the avatar.

I have found some of the rods in certain fishing systems have an animation overrider that forces your avatar to make a stand and cast animation, this script is part of there fishing system so unfortunately I am unable to stop that.
I have found the high level fishing rods casts animation overrides ao's and object scripts.

there is a talker script in the barrel all you have to do is click the barrel to turn talker on or off.

Here is a list of what I have it saying:

You get a bite and the rod bows down hard.

\o/ You landed a 20lb. sea bass! WoW!

Eeps you reel in a old tire.

\o/ You reel in fast and land a 50lb pike.

You check your limp line and find the bait gone awwww robbed..

You sit back relaxing and take a sip of your hot coco while
enjoying a nice sweet donut.

You begin to snore as you fall asleep while waiting for a bite.

\o/ You landed a 4lb Yellow Perch.

\o/ You landed a 40lb Channel Catfish! Amazing!

Ewwww You caught an old boot.

You scream landing a dismembered arm!

Here is what i have it say for the fishing fish version:

You get a bite the rod bows down har,d \0/ you landed a 100lb noob... Congrats?

Eeps You reel in a old tire...

You check the limp line finding the bait gone, awwww you was robbed...

You sit back on your fins enjoying a nice cup of hot coco

You sits back on your fins enjoying a sweet donut.

Ewwww you landed a rotten old boot.

You scream landing a dismembered tail fin!

Eeep you landed a mermaid top as you look around blushing!

There is a notecard called sentences, I am leaving that yes mod so if you wish you can edit and change the sentences. Just go into edit on the avatar, go into contents and you can change all the sentences the chair will say in local.

Take care when you do that as it is best to keep it PG but i leave that in your hands to decide, i just give you the option.

Do not put any spaces in between line of sentences or script will not read them. Do not do to many as I have found the script has a limit to how many sentences lines it can read so try not to go past 12 sentences.

you can turn the bubble on and of with a left click to the fishy chin.

I made this fun little avatar to go out fishing in and I hope you enjoy this avatar as well as im getting many hours of enjoyment out of it.
