The FlashPhoto Image Capture HUD is designed to help you measure your photos to the right aspect ratio for use in Second Life, whether it's for your Profile, to display on vendors, or hang up on your walls. The HUD also helps with composition by having a visible frame to work within, making it easier to visualize the finished photo. No more hassles with pictures being stretched or squished to fit in your Profile or Picks.
Choose an aspect ratio, and wear the matching HUD to frame the area you want to photograph, using the inner edges to border your shot. Allow a bit of space inside your framing border - it's better to have to crop out a little extra space than to find out you sliced one of your friends out of the picture. Once you've saved the snapshot to your computer, crop the photo to the right aspect ratio in your image editor, such as Photoshop, GIMP, or iPiccy.com
For more precision in your photos, check the box that allows HUDs to appear in snapshots, and make sure no other HUDs are showing inside the frame. Once you've saved the snapshot to your computer, crop the photo using the HUD frame as a guide.
Note that this is not a camera - it is a measurement and composition tool.
The HUD is Copy & Modify - you can edit it to change its size, or to make it a different color to stand out from the scene you're photographing. No laggy scripts or pre-loaded colors to limit your choices.
