Colorful, bright, swirling party streamers. Rez them out, adjust their height and let them do their thing!
These decorations slowly twirl in place, emitting a soft light - actual light, not a silly prim cone of some sort - matching the color of the streamer. Of course, you should set "Nearby local lights" in your graphic preferences to enjoy their soft ambiance.
