The Fnordian Security System is an easy-to-use system that will provide you with protection for your private land at an affordable cost.
Permissions: Copy, Modify (scripts are copy-only).
Important Note: The Security System can only eject avatars if you own the land, or if it's group-owned land and certain conditions are met. In general, on group-owned land you will need to rez and then deed the "Group Land Eject Orb" to the land group.
However, if your group membership role grants you the ability to eject people from the land (an ability usually only available to group owners and officers), you will probably be able to eject and teleport people even without a deeded "Group Land Eject Orb" as long as the Security System is set to the land group.
Key Features:
- Copyable, one prim design with colour-change to indicate status.
- Fully menu-driven.
- Unlimited range within the region - a single unit can protect your whole sim!
- You can set the coverage to the current parcel or to all parcels with the same land owner.
- If desired, a box-shaped area may be defined, by entering coordinates or by using the box balls at two corners.
- If parcel settings are used, avatars in neighboring land parcels are completely unaffected.
- Three eject modes: Eject, Eject+Ban, and Teleport Home.
- Eject time may be set from 0-360 seconds (in 8 increments).
- Land Access may be set to Public, Owner, Group, Safe List, or Group+List.
- Safe List entries may be updated in the safe_list notecard and/or through the menu.
- Black List entries may be updated in the black_list notecard and/or through the menu.
- Additional security system administrators may be added in the admin_list notecard or through the menu.
- Even avatars already in the eject queue may be added to the safe list (or other lists) on-the-fly, and if Land Access is set to Safe List they'll be removed from the eject queue and won't be ejected.
- Last 50 ejected avatars can be displayed.
- A Group Land Eject Orb can be deeded to the land group to enable full operation on group-owned land for group members.
Use and Basic Setup:
1. Rez the Fnordian Security System on land you own (or group-owned land) that you wish to protect from unauthorized access.
2. Left-click to bring up the menu.
3. Choose who's allowed to be there in the Land Access menu (default is Safe List).
4. If you wish to adjust the parcel scope or range (default is This Parcel, up to 100m), click the appropriate buttons.
5. If desired, edit the safe_list notecard or use the Safe List menu to add individual avatars to the safe list.
6. If desired, edit the black_list notecard or use the Black List menu to add individuals to the black list.
7. In the Eject Time menu, choose the number of seconds before an avatar is ejected (or ejected and banned, or teleported home).
8. Click the Enable button to turn the Security System on.
What it Does:
1. When an unauthorized avatar comes within range of the Fnordian Security System on protected parcels (on your land or group owned land), he or she is added to the eject queue and will receive a warning message about imminent ejection (or ejection + banning or teleporting home) and the time remaining.
2. The avatar will continue to be warned every 5 seconds until ejected/ejected + banned/teleported home or until he or she moves out of range.
3. If Notify is on, you'll be sent an IM informing you that the avatar was ejected/ejected + banned/teleported home.

Great Product
When I first installed this orb I did not configure it properly.. (by the way the instructions are very clear).. I wrote to the creator about my having a problem and he got back to me in less than 8 hours.. by then I had already figured out I was having one of my stupid times and fixed the problem myself.. Unlike most security orbs this one can be set to 0 seconds something I was looking for.. This is money well spent.

I have the multiporter system and love it so when I saw that he had a security system I just had to get it cause my old security system is no longer supported and started to act wonky so I got this system. It is so easy to set up and works great. I am so glad I got this system for my home.
Amazing system
I do not write a lot of reviews because most of the time I forget but this one not a chance! I have bough a lot of security systems/orbs ranging from minimum all the way up to 3000 lindens and let me tell you this one is the very best I have ever gotten period! the person does not even have a chance to get to you they are already kicked out and the best part it has a 0 second available option that is very important for me so bravo tips her hat to the creator I would have paid you at least 2000 lindens for this system and worth at least 1000 lindens for sure
GREAT ORB AND GREAT BACK-UP SERVICE
I was looking round for an orb like this one when my other one broke down and the creator was no longer available. It seemed to do everything I wanted, and more and the price was excellent so I got it. It's very easy to set up and the menu is clear. There are notecards and a manual on how to do everything and they are very well laid out and explained. Takes hardly any time at all to set up. I had one little technical query and got in touch with Fnordian Link who happened to be online at the time and gave me the most excellent response I could ever have expected very quickly. Thank you Fnordian.

Very good security orb for small-to-moderate sized communities and properties
I'd like first of all to commend Fnordian Link for excellent customer focus and service. He's never failed to show up when asked to help with a problem I've had operating this product, even when the issue was entirely my fault. It's a nicely designed security system with every possible feature to make operating it convenient and easy. My only issue with it came late in my experience with the system, because my security needs require me to maintain large access lists (over 200 avatars), when stack overflows became a problem because of generic memory limitations. I now use another designer's orb which has fewer amenities but which allows me to maintain my property's security in as tight a fashion as I wish. I began missing the Fnordian Security System's the say after I switched away from it, and it's just a pity that Linden Labs' memory utilization issues don't allow very powerful and convenient security software to protect properties whose owners want to extend restrictive access to large numbers of visitors. It's not the designer's fault and the likelihood is that unless you have over 200 people in your access list, you'll LOVE this security device.
