Six transferable HUDs are included in each box, so you can chat with up to five other avatars in the same region. To chat with more friends, simply purchase additional boxes.
To use the Fnordian Sim Chat HUD, simply wear it. It will attach to the center HUD position.
The HUD starts off activated. To deactivate it, click the HUD. To reactivate it, click it again.
When worn and activated, all chat typed on channel zero by the HUD wearer will be sent to everyone else in the same region (any distance) who is also wearing an activated Fnordian Sim Chat HUD.
If two avatars wearing the Sim Chat HUD converse within 20m, they'll only see the regular chat from each other--their HUDs won't repeat the received messages so they won't see any chat echo. Other avatar wearing the HUD who are further away will receive the messages through their HUDs instead.
The Fnordian Sim Chat HUD is fully compatible with the Fnordian Sim Chat Chair script (sold separately), so that HUD wearers may converse with avatars seated in Sim Chat-enabled chairs at long distances.
