This is an exciting new update (version 2.0) of the original Fnordian Tranquility Spheres, adding a full menu of options and other enhancements.
Touch the launcher and a menu appears with numerous options. Choose "Start" and a colourful translucent sphere emerges and takes its place several meters above. Wait a few seconds and the sphere duplicates itself while singing a choir-like tone. The spheres shift and dance as they sing, spawning a new coloured sphere every few moments until there are at least a dozen in the air. As new spheres appear, the older spheres vanish. The glowing orbs mesmerize the watcher and listener as they move, give birth, die, and sing.
Sit upon the spheres and go for a wild and exhilarating ride with them through space and time. The spheres continue their dance until you choose to stop them, or pop them and watch them vanish in a burst of vibrant colour.
As owner, you can pop them with a touch, or all at once by saying "pop" as well as from the menu. You can witness a fascinating effect if you rez more than one launcher, placing them about 10m or so apart. Make sure that range is set fairly low (4m seems to work best) and start both launchers. The spheres will "ping pong" between the two launchers (at the height set).
