Footmen in liveries

In collaboration with the Great Boehmer et Lorraine, a set is offered consisting of footmen in two liveries of different colors. The outfits, crafted by Boehmer, feature full historical details (equivalent costumes available to wear at their store).
The models come with various poses that can be controlled through an integrated menu, including the option to welcome visitors.

In the 18th century, domestic service formed a significant segment of society—up to 20% of the population belonged to it. Among the most fortunate were those employed by aristocratic households. Footmen, serving under the household butler, always wore livery. These uniforms reflected the colors of the family's coat of arms and were often made in bright hues to ensure easy recognition.

The Livery, typically made from wool fabric, was decorated with gold or silver buttons and contrasting trim. For example, in 1770, the Count of Artois's livery was apple green, while that of the Duke of Berwick was navy blue and orange. A respectable household maintained visible footmen, stationed in entrance halls to receive and announce guests, serve meals, or quickly deliver messages. The number of footmen a family employed reflected its social standing.
