///////WARNING///////// THIS IS AN ADVANCED MODKIT
REQUIRES USAGE OF SELECT FACE AND SETTING THINGS TO BOM MANUALLY
Please understand the edit/build menu and how Bakes On Mesh works before purchase!

This is a universal-layer-based bom pack for
https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/C-Crux-Viridescent-Regalia/20664105 or it's other colors,
which itself is a demi-av that requires https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Sugarcult-Project-Regalia/18217485
Although this kit includes SLUV parts, this is primarily made with regalia in mind.
It does NOT support the non-regalia version of the Cerberus Crux avatar.
BOMr, or BOM for Regalia, is a sort of third-party solution to turn the Project Regalia bodies to use bakes on mesh. The previous version of this applier was delisted, so the current one is now here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/DS-Regalia-BoMR-Applier/25650952

In this pack is:
x21 UNIVERSAL layers for the Crux DemiAv

xx white base (SLUV and REGALIA)
xx pattern overlay (SLUV and REGALIA)
xx pattern gradient (REGALIA ONLY)
xx mouth innards + gums + teeth + tongue-stripe
xx ear innards + ear shading + subtle ear gradient
xx claws + pawpads
xx nose + nose highight
xx eyelid + "eyelashes" markings, optional
xx rainbow tail + alternating tail stripes, optional

Quick Guide:
Regalia body must be set to BOMr, and the hands manually also set to use either upper or lower body slot.
Change half of the head to use the HEAD bom slot, and the other half the HAIR bom slot.
Gums and Canine-ver teeth to LeftArm.
Set the ears, teeth and tongue to use AUX1. Set the tail to use AUX2.
Use edit linked and select face to change the hands, pawpads, and claws to AUX3.
The wrists must remain upper/lower.
Ensure all body parts have the alpha dropdown set to None.

Always ask a few modding friends first, then IM me only if you struggle with any part of this.
As a reminder, this is an Advanced User modkit.
Happy modding!

---------------STEP BY STEP GUIDE
(Regalia body implied, SLUV ver. follows nearly the same)

NOTE: If you prefer to do so, skip 1 and 2 by dragging the Crux parts to the ground and follow 3 from there, as SL is not very good at letting you select rigged objects. Do as desired to apply the textures, just ensure the body and legs are set first through BoMR applier.

1. Wear the Regalia body of your choosing, alongside .:C:. Crux parts of the same body type. Ensure you are wearing the crux hands, not default Regalia hands. With the Crux HUD, open the mouth for ease of access; you may have to uncheck Disable Overrides.

2. Wear, click, and unwear the Regalia BoMR applier. At this stage, you may want to wear the Tintable Crux - White Base Regalia and add the Primary Overlay Regalia layers, for ease of editing in next step. Add others if wanted, or do so later.

3. Open the edit/build menu and begin manually applying BOM to the crux parts that did not change. Use blinn-phong tab in texture editor unless you know what you're doing. Use ctrl. and ctrl, with Edit Linked and Select Face checked to easily go between faces of an object. Ensure after changing an object to a BOM texture that it's Alpha is set to None.

-3a. Change one half of the head to BAKED_HEAD and the other to BAKED_HAIR. The crux hair object can be either one.
The crux teeth and tongue are AUX1, with the Gums and alternate Canine teeth set to Left Arm.

-3b. Continue on with setting the Ears to AUX1, and Tail to AUX2. These are easier selected through "right click - edit" in the inventory than by clicking.

-3c. Hands. The wrists will be either BAKED_UPPER or BAKED_LOWER, and you must change the base hand, claws, and pawpads to AUX3.

4. If everything seems applied correctly, done! Pick up and re-wear if you went that route, and right click Add layers in number order if you haven't yet. With everything on, just edit the layers in your inventory and tint away!

If you go to right-click Edit these layers and find the Color box isn't updating, usually you can just save the Universal, then right-click Edit the layer again to make it update better. Sometimes. That is a Second Life specific bug. If anything looks odd, re-check the textures' Alpha is set to None.
