UV map is just a guide to help you create your own textures. It doesn't work like sculpt maps. With new Second Life mesh system there is no more using sculpt maps. You buy models directly.

though you only get one shape with two different textures to make it look like snow or ice but you can rotate by 180° and then stretch it make it shrink or a bit longer and every piece will look different. i love how it looks... thanks

Lovely quality and good value
A little tweaking of translucency and glow made this fit my winter night-time windlight wonderfully on my porch roof edge.
Of the above review, of course the textures stretch! This is a viewer build menu issue - nothing to do with any specific product. Just make sure you have the 'Stretch Textures' box checked 8P
