Worthless for Classic Avatars

I got this to wear for a musician avatar for my tribute band when we were doing Emerson, Lake & Palmer. My musician avs are all classic avs, because it's counter productive to spend several thousand lindens on a mesh av that will at best be used a few hours every month. I got this because it said that it worked with classic avatars--and indeed there is a regular fitmesh version in the package. The problem is the longer arm. The alpha for the fitmesh version ends above the elbows, so it doesn't cover all the longer arm. And when I bent my arm, my elbow came through the jacket. And there was no way to conceal it. I tried every trick I know, to no avail. So I had to discard the jacket entirely and find something else to wear for the shows. Now, to be fair, if you're buying this for use with a mesh avatar that allows you to alpha out one arm to a different length that the other, it will probably work fine for you, as long as you don't try to match it exactly with the color, etc. of the pants. I couldn't get that to work very well either, but I could have overlooked it if not for the elbow problem. So basically if you want to use this with a classic av, you're better off looking elsewhere. Those with mesh bodies, you may well have better luck. (Though I still don't get the one arm longer than the other approach.)
