(Fundati) Pinus Pinaster Pine Set

I have been looking for a good set of these literally for *years*, and if you're standing right next to them, they look great! All of Fundati's plants look amazing when you're standing right next to them, and these are no exception. Unfortunately, like the palm trees and yucca trees, these have some of the worst LoD degradation in all of SL, with effectively no model below the highest quality. So, as soon as your viewer drops the detail from High to Medium (which can happen as close as 20-30 meters for some users, and was about 50-60 meters for me), the entire tree turns into just a single triangle. This could be considered acceptable if you're putting a single tree right next to your house or something, but if you're trying to landscape any kind of public space, like a park? People won't even know the trees are *there* unless they're close enough to bump into them. I certainly understand the desire to reduce land impact, but the lower detail levels are there for a reason, and skipping them entirely for something that needs to be visible from a distance - like trees - is unacceptable. I hope these get an update someday, because I desperately WANT to use them and love them, and the fact that they're a unique species that does look so good at close range is enough to not rate them lower, but as they stand right now? Useless to me, and to anyone else trying to do landscaping at any kind of scale, or who just want their trees to look like trees when they cam out a little.

These pines are wonderful, like all Fundati plants. I would like many more.
