This component is one of a series in the basic passive (discrete) electrical components re-imagined in a late-19th century style. They are deliberately large and clunky and made with materials and technology available from that time period.
Fuse: This simple device is designed for failure. Fuses are essential components for protecting more sensitive and expensive parts from being damaged by over-current. The design is simple and features a short length of resistive wire with a bead in the centre that will melt if the current exceeds its tolerance by melting. This cuts the flow of electricity to the circuit, sacrificing itself to save the more sensitive components and even protect the user from harmful explosions or electric shocks.
Modifications
All of my components are sold Copy/Modify/No Transfer to ensure maximum enjoyment and customizability of your purchase. You can, of course, re-texture and resize to your heart's content. Resizing is easy using the stretch tool in the build palette (be sure to set "stretch both sides" and "stretch texture" to maintain consistency of appearance).
The components in this series are for appearance only, and come unscripted though a future scripted version is planned and will be sold separately. As such, this series of producs comes without support as none is really necessary. All products sold are subject to the store policies enclosed.
