Future Ghostbusters: The Department of Spectral Investigation

The year is 2084 - one hundred years after the founding of the Ghostbusters franchise.
Corporations have run the world for a long time - at first by buying influence in governments, but eventually taking over entirely and privatizing all governmental organizations. Rampant Consumerism and Capitalism have depleted most of the world's resources, and only the rich thrive. As a result, humanity has slipped into a dystopian and war-torn quagmire.
As the world has gotten darker and suffering has increased, hauntings and demonic activity have skyrocketed. Because of this, Ghostbusters Inc. has risen to a position of power and prominence. They now operate as a section of the Department of Defense called the "Department of Spectral Investigation" (or D.S.I.)
Who you gunna call? Not the D.S.I.! It is nearly impossible to get the D.S.I. to investigate a minor haunting in your home or place of business. And, even if you could fill out all the forms and get on the waiting list, you couldn't afford their services.
However, when major demonic activity threatens corporate interests, the D.S.I, dispatches a heavily equipped army of Ghostbuster Soldiers to "mop up" the problem.
Afterward, you can expect to see D.S.I. Officers arrive on the scene. These guys are literally "Men in Black" - dark-suited men in mirrored shades who are usually more interested in establishing cover-ups and making official denials than in protecting civilians from ghosts
It is rumored that much of the demonic activity the D.S.I. combats is, in fact, their own doing - as they perform secret experiments in their highly classified labs. This rumor, however, has never been confirmed.
