[GBD] - Albatross Dropship バージョン 1.1

It's wonderful! I love how it looks stylistically and how it works functionally, flies wonderfully and crosses sim boundaries better than most things I have used by far. You can rip out the seats in the inside to put your own stuff in and it works good. I would say my only complaint is the LOD models on the step-ladders on the side doors are INCREDIBLY crunchy and don't have collision meshes for some reason, but it's such a minor detail I can't complain (would be awesome to have fixed though!)

This is a pretty great ship, it's fairly large but it flies decent and has a good amount of customization and it's moddable, not only that it just looks awesome for scifi/cyberpunk and even semi futuristic military settings. It holds a good number of people and is great for ferrying fire teams around and into hot zones. Really great for rp.

Design: The Albatross don't look particularly sleek or attractive. It's not bristling with neon lights, it doesn't even come with cupholders. A welcome sight, indeed. This is a purpose built dropship, and the appearance shows it.

Performance: Acceleration is rapid, and the top speed can be increased via chat commands. The handling is as one should suspect from, what can only be described as, a flying brick. The turns are slow, but in the hands of a capable pilot, the Albatross can be fairly nimble. My only gripe about it, is it handles as if it is in space. So there's no lean in the turns, you must fully turn 90 degrees to either turn left or right while in Flight Mode.

Price: What essentially amounts to $22, this is a pretty good value for a dropship. The sound design is well done, its performance is accurate, and it has an air of nostalgia in its appearance.

Improvements: I can deal with the texture HUD being a bit clunky to use, and I can deal with the odd handling of this vessel. But if there is one thing I hope Gunnersberg Dynamics to improve not just the Albatross, but all of their vehicles, is add a HUD for basic functions. It's very awkward to try and engage VTOL mode in chat, when you're approaching the sound barrier. If they add a HUD to replace the chat commands, all their vehicles would be much more appealing, if not some of the greatest sci-fi vehicles on offer in Second Life.

I bought this mostly due to its looks and the ability to mod it into a 'spaceship camper' you could say.
And needless to say.. it delivers. While I didn't finish 'building' my dream spaceship camper, it is very modular and versatile for a builder.

On the scripting part, It's amazing. I didn't expect it to fly so well but oh boy it does. It flies amazing. Sim crossing isn't a problem either.
An an extra plus? It can fit the fencer hover bike!

every time i put it in flight mode it freezes in midair and cant get it out of it red and did the instructions and they faulty it constantly locks me out of the controls where im just spinning the camera around

this is wallet abuse ! i cant help it man i had to buy this ! ♥ the details and smoothness of every thing working...i am in tears XD
