This particular piece is a wine colour day dress in silk, it includes a version with short puff sleeves and one with long sleeves.
The Tissot collection is inspired by J. Tissot's detailed paintings reflecting the fashion and social habits of the late Nineteenth century. This particular piece is inspired by his painting "Mrs Newton with Parasol".
Our recommendations:
You can wear the short sleeve top with long gloves for an evening effect. Warning: certain AO's can really mess with the skirt, try to avoid anything that stretches the legs too much or thrusts the hips sideways (we are working on this but we haven't yet found out the way to beat the AO curse..., our apologies).

This dress is extremely lovely and most ingeniously put together...well worth the high price tag. I only wish it could have included a pair of gloves, as I can't find a good match....anyway....BRAVO!!!!!
