This HUD based effects system allows you to combine unique textures in many colors, adjust many other features and aim these customized effects at anyone near you in-world with the click of a button!
You can customize three effect emitters by picking from 10 colors or 11 textures for each of them, or use the auto color mode for even more variety. There are various movement styles and adjustable parameters such as intensity, size and duration of the effects to make them fit your personal need or mood very perfectly. All settings can be accessed easily on the HUD with intuitive controls.
Chat messages can either be customized to your individual needs or disabled completely. The HUD can either use your full name, your first name, your display name, or a custom name independent from your actual Second Life® one.
When not in use, the HUD can be minimized to a compact mode, so you can keep it attached without interference on your screen.

Getting started

QUICK HINT: Simply wear both the HUD and the Body Attachment and you are perfectly ready to go!

For those of you with some more time: The Interactive Effect consists of two parts: The HUD itself, which will process your inputs and settings from your screen and pass them on to the Body Attachment, which will receive these parameters and emit the effects as desired to the specified target avatar.
All you need to do is to wear both the HUD and the Body Attachment (Right click -> Wear). As soon they are communicating with each other, the 'send' button on the HUD will be enabled and the system is ready to use. Please note that you won't be able to change any settings or send effects unless both items are being worn and communicating with each other.
The HUD goes to the central screen attachment point by default from where you can adjust it's position easily with the Second Life® building tools (Right click -> Edit). The Body Attachment goes to the stomach by default, but can be attached to any body part you would like to emit your effects from.

To send the current effect to someone near you, simply hit the 'Send' button on the HUD and pick the desired target avatar, who must be in a range of 32 meters. You can alternatively type the avatar's name or the first letters of it on channel 8 in local chat. For example: /8 Malina. This requires the target to be in a range of 64 meters maximum.
