GETZAPPED! Simple Cage Teleport Pad
---------------------------------------------------
This is our basic teleport pad. Allows you to TP to anywhere in a region up to 4096 meters away. You click on it then select your destination. A spherical cage will rez (why a cage? … well WHY NOT!). Just sit on it to go to your destination.
Features:
------------
- Easy set up. Just rez it, rename it, and reset it.
- You can set up pad into separate networks. You set the ‘network’ by specifying a channel number in the description.
- Each Pad has its own security note card so you can control access.
- Sold with mod privileges so you can tailor it to your sim.
- The pad is RLV enabled so that people who have RLV restrictions (no touch, no sit) can still be teleported. Note that if a person has NoSit and NoTp to location limits the pads will not work. They need to wear an RLV relay (often in their collars).
- Operates by touch or step on.
- Integrates into the ‘GETZAPPED!’ cell server system. This way you can administrate permissions for each pad from a central location, lock out certain pads, and set up administrators for them.
- Has a grab feature so you can transport subs or captives around with less hassle.
- Access control by name, group, public or via an access control server.
Setup:
--------
- Unpack your teleport pad … Duh!
- Make a copy of the pad in your inventory. Change the Name of the pad. If you want to set it up on a unique network change the number in the description. By default this is -55555. You can make it any number; though keep it negative and large. This will decrease lag and help make sure that it is unique. DON’T use numbers 0-100. They are too common.
- Rez the pad in world where you want it.
- Now go to your next spot, rename the pad in your inventory and then just rez it in world. Repeat until you have all the ones you want set up.
Each time you refresh or reset a pad it automatically re-integrates with the entire system.

Security:
-----------
Security for the pads can be handled 2 ways remotely and locally. Since remote access control requires another “GETZAPPED!” device I will only detail the local control here. Security is pretty simple it is all based on using a single note card called “AccessList” that you place in the pad. If you do not have “AccessList” in your pad then it will try to get access permissions from a “GETZAPPED! Cell Server”. If there is no server, or no entry for the pad in the server then the pad will be set to public access. Access lists are set up ONLY after a reset or a pad being rezed in world. This is to cut down on lag.
If you put an “AccessList” in your pad then you must add the names of the avatars with access to the note card. If there are no names in the note then there is no access for anyone.
- Create a note card called “AccessList”.
- Edit your pad (in world) and copy “AccessList”.
- Add the names of all the people that have access to this pad. Put only 1 name on each line.
- Save the note card. You are done.

Note you can create these note cards in you inventory then drop them in the pads as you see fit.

Public Menu:
-----------------
This menu is for all your users.
<Numbers> - Each number corresponds to a destination. Pick a number to select a destination. A Cage will be rezzed above the pad. Sit in it to teleport.
*More* - To see more destinations.
*Quit* - To leave this menu.
*Help* - Gets this help note card.
*Setup* - To open the owner menu.

Owner Menu:
-----------------
This menu is for pad owners only.
*Access* - Lists who has access to the pad.
*Dest* - List all destinations available.
*Reset* - Resets this TP pad.
*Quit* - Quits out of this menu.
*Refresh* - Refreshes all pads in the network
*Help* - Gets this help note card.
*Update* - Tests to see if there is an update for this pad.
How the RLV support works:
--------------------------------------
If the person who touches or steps on the pad has RLV running, when the TP cage rezzes it detects the restrictions they are under. If they are restricted to touch a force sitter will try to make them sit in the cage and teleport. If they are Touch and sit restricted it will offer them a TP to a location to the destination. If they have a HUD based touch restriction (like for MD, and RR cuffs and ropes) then the user just needs to type “/13tpme” in chat and they will be force sat or offered a TP to the location based on their current restriction. If the user has both sit and TP to location restricted the pad will apologize for not being able to help them and the cage will disappear.
That’s it have fun!
