GF Marine Weapons Version 1.0

Developed by the Galactic Federation and tested on battlefields beyond counting, these weapons feature custom mixed sound effects that give them the presence they deserve.

•Weapon History

In the years before the Talon incident, the Galactic Marines were equipped with an array of weapons, each serving multiple purposes on the battlefield.

The core of the Marines' equipment was a pair of charged projectile weapons, which fired cased projectiles that were magnetically accelerated, each round projecting a small EM field in order to more readily overtax shielded opponents, disable mechanical enemies, and penetrate heavy armor.

•Operations Manual

The GF Marines' primary weapon is the Type 2670 Assault Rifle. This weapon activates with a /1draw command. The weapon is a shoulder fired, magazine fed, magnetic acceleration weapons system, with a 30 round box magazine that can be replaced with /1reload. The weapon comes with a standard issue sling as well as magnetic mounting points, and can be stowed with /1sling.

The Marines' secondary weapon, for close quarters combat or engagements where over-penetration of the target is not desired, is the Model 2670b Sub-machine gun. This weapon responds to the /1draw2 command. The SMG fires in rapid 3 round bursts, and is fed from a box magazine of 45 rounds, which can be reloaded with /1reload. The weapon is equipped with both sling swivels and magnetic mounting points, which can be activated for storage with /1sling.

While these weapons have been set up and balanced for SLMC use, they're also just fine for RP use, and are intended to look, sound, and feel authentic to Metroid first and foremost.

This weapon will be compatible with our other Operator sets, so collect them all to mix and match.
