Spacious simplicity & depth in design
Many home builders in SL build as one would conceptualize in RL.. Grand thoughts, poor design for SL dynamics... This home however, details the builders ability to truly mesh the two worlds together.
At first glance, the home is wide open... Large, spacious areas which allow one to let the creative juices flow, uninhibited. The layout is close to a simple "H" pattern. Downstairs has a layout which I would define as 4 large open areas with several wide connections which make the transisition seamless. Upstairs has 3 large room areas with 2 attached baths. Add to this a wide and deep open area, glass doors leading to a backside wrap around deck.
Texture wise, the abundance of glass allows one to really experience the beauty of SL's landscape. A brilliant design feature is the integration of glass blocks both with in the outer windows and inside walls. The glass block fountain wall is an excellent eye grabber. The external glass has the basic tinning features..light to total privacy.
Toss in a few other niceties, such as the sound pack for the doors(trekkies will like these) and small pool out back.
Furnishing... If one is creative and has a substantial inventory of items , the unfurnished model works well, though prepare for lots of deep thinking on how to lay it out. It should be noted here the unfurnished model does come with the main kitchen cabinets and 2 furnished bathrooms.
The furnished model is quite the bargain, basically rez and play. The builder has done a fine job decorating, from furniture to wall art.
Overall, a pleasure to live my SL life in, easily modifiable and the dynamics of design keep you from having to readjust your camera view with every turn.
