!! : For those wearing tats or body hair layers, the way SL deals with transparency may be a bit disturbing and tricky.To be sure to see all those layers use the following : Click on item, chose "Edit", then goto Texture tab and chose "Alpha Masking" instead of "Alpha Blending" in the combo box called "Alpha Mode" and set "Mak Cutoff" to a number between 100 and 200.
