GWR 93 Steam Rail Motor, vintage - SLRR

The Steam Rail Motors (SRM) were self-propelled carriages operated by the Great Western Railway in England and Wales from 1903 to 1935. In principle it is a steam locomotive within the body of a carriage.

The model in style of a GWR No.93, crafted by ManishaKoirala, simplified and modified for the SLRR, offers a funny way of passenger transportation and traveling along the tracks of Mainland or on private sim(s).
The Train can be operator controlled or selfrunning, remote controlled via Multifunction Sensor.
Railtrack package AAB 50 (50m radius, vintage style), matching signals and switches and the Multifunction Sensor for traveling logistic is included in this all inclusive package.

Another great train
full star full star full star full star empty star Posted January 03, 2024 by Martina Voxel

That is my 3rd Bibian Train I buy. As all the other, it is really well done, and I love how smooth it is to drive. I did try it on Bellisseria tracks in 1 vehicle mode and in Heterocera in 2 vehicle mode. All works well. Sadly as I tried "at empty" (I mean alone on board) the carriage was lost on a sim with a circuit in it, as I did make more time than the autoreturn time allowed me. The bad point is that we cannot re rezz only the carriage and couple it. We have no choice than rez the whole train again. I like how it s done too, so I did recolor to test, in blue (and wow,it render very well, so I took a copy), and I m looking now to redo the writings, but it should be a really basic operation.
Another think is that the sim crossings are sometimes a bit hard, but it pass (even on some sim crossings VERY close of corners on some Heterocera Lines) Thank you very much.
