all the official parts that make up the genuine Maya
Calendar. Great for indoor decoration and study

Scripted and Programmed for accurate functioning
of the Maya Calendar Computer it has been tested
and verified with the Smithsonian Museum / Institute
for its alignment in automatic date tracking.
It functions independently in Second Life.
The Maya Calendar is factually a computer that
functions by itself with a mechanism that accurately
independantly calculates and tracks the cycles of the
Tzolk'in, Haab and the Long Count.
Perfect for anyone who is fascinated and curious
about the great Maya civilization and their mysteries
just as much as for those Archeologist among us.
Scientifically accurate and unique in Second Life this
is your chance to get close to the real functioning
Maya Calendar for the first time in the Virtual World.
This is a 3D functional computer Calendar that will
inform you when once in a while there is a special
date that deserves recognition. When one of
the dates occurs then in the display frame on top of
the Maya Calendar will activate with a gentle visual
cue and let you know that it reached that date.
The Maya Calendar Computer exists out of in total 5
different calendar cycles in one system.
1. Trecena ring
2. Nawales ring
3. Haab day ring
4. Haab month ring
5. Long Count counter
Generally the Trecena and Nawales are named as
being the Tzolk'in, where as the Haab is a combination
of the daily Haab counter and the 20 day cycle Haab,
So is the Long Count not a physical system but a
mathmetical system which never had a ring with the
ancient Maya`s and so, we get to the system presented here.

SPECIAL FUNCTIONS

The Maya Calendar comes with a magical touch glow
and also has a built in ability to have a timer set glow
effect for a personally chosen minute timer interval. So
if you want it to glow gently every hour, just enter in "60"
for 60 minutes and there you go.
It also has the ability to provide you with a number of
accessory visual elements that can be chosen through
the menu to tailor it to your style in a number of ways.
