This is a popular Game tool for educators or those interested in hosting a live gameshow in Second Life.
It can be used in a live question / answer based game. When you want people to click the button (after you have answered the question) you reveal the buzzer, everyone can then click it! Their names will be displayed below it via a prim drop down and excellent sound effects to reveal you pressed it first, second and third. It also comes complete with a countdown timer and buzzer, that can be set via prim buttons.
This is quite easy and fun to use, and has mechanical action, so fun to watch!

This Game Buzzer is quite a use full tool! Use it in any assortment of games!
This buzzer is multi user and can be controlled by all the facilitators you list in the config notecard. The owner is automatically added as a facilitator.
USING THE BUZZER

** Engage the buzzer by clicking the green "On" cylinder at the
When the buzzer is engaged, users can click on it and have their name displayed if they are the first 3 to click the
When the buzzer is engaged its Green!
** Disengage the buzzer by clicking the red "Off" cylinder at the base
When the buzzer is disengaged, users can NOT click it
When the buzzer is disengaged its Red!
** Hide the buzzer by clicking the yellow "Hide" cylinder at the base.
When the buzzer is hidden, users can NOT click it !
When the buzzer is hidden you can't see it!!!!!

The first 3 users to click on the green buzzer will have their names apear below in robotic drop downs, in First, Second, and Third order.
USING THE BUZZER IN A GAME

The buzzer is good in trivia games, where you ask a question, and users with an answer click the buzzer to get a chance to answer.
When you choose someone to answer the question, you can start the count timer to give them a time limit to answer!

A fantastic game-creation tool--well worth the Ls for the Many Uses it has... everyone in class can see the two-sided timer, all the important parts are labeled, easy to control, names of those who click the buzzer appear in order right on the prims; no blue windows involved (!) Very well thought-out design, a highly-wrought build and script--compact yet tons of features. An excellent addition to any virtual classroom at any education level. Finally! Great! I have used this buzzer a few times and can say it works great. The action is fast, the sounds are fun, and the dropdown name boxes really make it easy to use. I like the countdown timer starting after the first person clicks the buzzer. This is definitely a tool worth having.
Absolutely amazing. Thank you! This makes every activity 100 times more fun. So many applications and so versatile. A must have for any educator serious about using SL to teach.
