Rez gateway on the ground. Right-click on gateway, select "Edit", and then click on the "Content" tab. Copy and paste up to 12 landmarks into the gateway's inventory. NOTE: The names of the landmarks must be 24 characters or less. Otherwise, a script error will occur.
If gateway contains only one landmark, gateway will automatically open (particle effects will appear). Simply click the gateway to travel to your destination.
If gateway contains multiple landmarks, click on gateway to bring up menu of destinations. Once you select your destination, the gateway will open. Click on the gateway again to travel to your destination. Gateway will remain open for 30 seconds or until you teleport.
If destination is over 300 meters away, the map window will open, allowing you to teleport to the landmark location.
NOTE: This gateway includes normal and specular maps. In order to view the gateway with these maps applied, you must be using a materials capable viewer (such as the Official SL Viewer and Firestorm Public Beta). To enable these textures, click on Me -> Preferences -> Graphics, and check the "Advanced Lighting Model" box.
You must have a mesh-enabled viewer to use.
