This Gazebo is 100% original mesh by me. It is designed to look terrific at a distance as well as close up, and is supplied in both a High LOD version for viewing perfectly across an entire region, and a Lower LI version which will suffice for most people.
Rezzed size is approximately 10.25m x 11.25m floor, and 12.4m high with an extra 0.75m base depth below the steps. The additional base can be resized as required (as can the gazebo itself of course).
Three roof styles are also supplied: Teal, White and Harlequin glass. Full use of advanced materials.
The Gazebo is designed to be very easy to modify should you wish. UV mapping is simple allowing ordinary textures to be used and easily scaled. There are plenty of individual faces where you would expect them. Please see the alignment texture and colour-coded pictures for examples.
There are even three different types of roof (not just the above colours). Roof 1 is the one fitted to the ready-built gazebos. It uses quarter-dome mapping for best resolution, and has flat panes of glass. Roof 2 is also flat panes but UV mapped onto the entire dome as a circle, to allow easy use of any normal texture. Roof 3 is UV mapped as a circle too, and is smooth instead of having panes. Perfect for a metal roof like copper. Just unlink the existing roof and replace it with one of your choice for modding.
You can remove (or just alpha out) the lattice of roof glass supports too. Again, great for a metal dome roof. The steps can be removed in case you want a walkway right up to the gazebo floor. All of this requires some experience with the edit tool of course.
Should your roof suffer from alpha sorting issues with things like alpha trees, you can set the outer roof face to be non-alpha while keeping the inner translucent, or vice versa.
A simple, additional base is provided should you need it, and the bottom of the Gazebo itself goes below the level of the steps to allow for uneven ground.
As always, I made this for me on my land. So, it is made to my usual, exacting standards, excellent LOD performance with all LOD models hand made and full use of advanced techniques like custom normal (for realistic edge shading) and advanced materials.
