As a keen guitarist, I soon realised that I was spoiled for choice with the available guitars on offer in Second Life, but not so much for amps and pedal boards.
I ended up scouring the Market Place for a good looking guitar effects pedal board, preferably something where I could buy the pedals I use and custom-make a representation of my real-life board. Not only did I find the choices very limiting, but I often became frustrated at what would pass for a pedal board in Second Life.
So I decided to make a modular pedal board where I could offer a guitarist a range of continuously expanding, detailed mesh components that could go into the making of your own board, or simply your dream board. For obvious reasons, these components are based on real-life pedals, but are of my own design so as not to step on any real-life manufacturers toes.
The Distortion pedal offers high mesh detailing.
Stomp on the footswitch and a LED lights up to let you know the pedal is on.
All for a low LI (land impact) of only two!
Please note; A basic understanding of object editing is required to setup the board to your own tastes and requirements. This pedal is non functional and is purely for decorative purposes only.
