A pair of Fauteuils and matching foot-stools after the set made by Georges Jacob for the ceremonial bedchamber of the Duc de Penthièvre at the Hotel de Toulousse.
The frame, gilded and delicately decorated with a trim of carved jasmine leaves individually worked and then mounted on top of frame. upholstered in a blue silk lampas from the Royal manofacture de Lyon.
