Description of Item
The Gloria Laser Rifle is a 10 shot, semi automatic laser-diode, battery powered rifle. Utilizing a disposable heatsink to keep the rifle and its components cool. Including heat piping for the 6 Focusing lenses inserted into the barrel. Each heatsink is rated for up to 10 shots before needing to be allowed to cool down and refurbished.
Modifications and Attachments.
Utilizing the touch menu will allow you to attach and detach various attachments. Scope, Bayonet and activating the flashlight. The short version will lack these as it does not have the barrel and fires the lasers in a three beam spread.
Operation.
Firing the rifle is done by simply going into mouselook and pressing mouse one button. To reload it is dont automatically when the heatsink becomes too hot or it be done manually with the gesture included or simply typing r into channel 0 or 1.
Field Modifications.
The rifle is built in a linkset and allows for much modding. feel free to modify how you please. Just be aware the scripting relies on primnames for some vita components

Gun looks, sounds and shoots wonderfully, except that my avatar isn't actually visually aiming anywhere near my crosshairs, she loves pointing waay to the right. The rest of the gun works fine

It's great, a very beautiful style of the weapon... but it doesn't have to be put on a sling or on the shoulder or hide it... I hope an update comes out, but after that it's a cool weapon highly recommended

Sci-Fi guns are hard to find on SL, especially high quality, well built ones that involve a lot of time, effort and a lot of love to make the right gun.
Roleplaying in a Sci-Fi sim, I can't really run around with an antique M1 Garand if I want a rifle, but JDB made just that, a glorious looking, ping ringing rifle to satisfy your space-ranger needs. Great aesthetic, great sounds, perfect for roleplay and photos, I recommend all their stuff, not just this rifle. Get it and you'll not be disappointed.
