DESCRIPTION:
This Villa features 2 floors with magnificent indoor garden surrounded by the beautiful Livia's Garden Roman Fresco. The Main hall is flanked by two front rooms, each with access to the stairs to the 2nd floor balcony and 2 upstairs rooms. Through a beautifully appointed central hall is the garden, surrounded by 5 rooms, 4 of which have doors, the 5th for more public entertaining of guests. ABOUT MY ROLE-PLAY BUILDS

ATTENTION TO DETAIL & HISTORY:
Before beginning any of the structures I present to you for your role-play environments, I put a lot of time into researching the history or lore of the genre for which I am building.
The Roman Senate Building, for example, I researched photos from every angle I could, looked up official recreations and real photos of what's left today. From all this, I extrapolated and recreated the wall and floor textures that adorn the interior of the first floor. The structure itself, VERY closely resembles any photo of the Senate building you might find.
EXACT RECREATIONS?
While great attention to detail and research into history was done, it is not always possible to make something completely exact to reality here in SL. Prims and physical dimensions will always impact things built here in SL.
The Ludus Spartacus, for example, in the Starz show Spartacus, the ludus is MUCH bigger and grander than what I could realistically provide for a sim here in SL. I needed to curtail how many rooms and how vast it was so that it was playable here in world.

Beautifully Done !
Recently I decided to do a Roman Themed SIM and did not want to spend a lot of time building everything myself so I went searching for some quality prefabs. Criteria being that they must be well built, immersive and as historically accurate as possible. After searching for several hours on-line I went to see numerous builds in-world before deciding. I can say that this build met and exceeded those criteria and then-some. To top it off, during the building of the SIM, an SL glitch in my inventory caused this and all my other purchases that day to disappear ( I am sure some of you have experienced this yourselves )...I contacted Filipa and asked if there could be a redelivery arranged....To my great surprise she responded in less than 24 hrs and not only had sent me this item but replaced the five other items I had bought as well. I can highly recommend this builder and her line of Roman Architectural reconstructions. I am very pleased with the beautiful result of the SIM but more importantly the prompt and courteous service I received !
