Here is the key to eternal life in Heaven:

It can be summarized as:
ABC - Admit, Believe, and Confess

A - Admit that you are a sinner
B - Believe that God sent His own Son, Jesus to die for your sins, and rose Him from the dead. Believe that Jesus is both God and man.
C - Confess to God that you are a sinner, and ask Him to forgive you.

Here are the details:

First, we must understand that we have all sinned (broken God's law), and that sin condemns us:

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin death; but the gift of God eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

But there is good news. God loves us so much, He sent His own Son, Jesus to die on the cross to take the punishment for our sins! We can be forgiven through Him!

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Jesus is able to save us, because He is God, come in the flesh. He is both God, and man. He has existed forever, but He came to earth to tell us about God, and to pay for our sins.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

If we put our faith in Jesus, and ask Him to forgive us of our sins, He will forgive us! Our sins have put us on the path to hell, but through Him, and only Him, we can go to Heaven!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus did not stay dead, He was risen by the Father after 3 days. If you want to be saved, it is this easy:

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
...
Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you want to be saved now, you can pray this prayer, or a simmilar one to God:

"God, I admit to you that I am a sinner and I know I cannot do anything to earn my way to Heaven. I truly believe that Jesus came to earth as both God and man, died on the cross, was buried and was risen from the dead by the Father. God, please forgive me for my sins. I put my faith in Jesus's sacrifice to pay for my sin in full."

If you prayed this prayer to God, and meant it, congratulations, you are saved! Your sins have been forgiven by God, and you will go to Heaven!

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; - 1 Corinthians 15:3
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: - 1 Corinthians 15:4
