Bought it...throwing it is a doddle and it looks good, but I never managed to find a wall I could climb without falling off before reaching the top. Packed it away, very disappointed, and bought another system.... which works.
Looks Great... On My Belt
I so wanted to like this, always had a soft spot for Markz Weapons but this needs a serious makeover. The rope is not consistent, it breaks into tiny pieces and when I climb it often I am not actually on it, kinda angling off and sometimes lets me falls. But it does look good on my belt, so 3 stars
Great grapple hook
This grapple has a good range, but not an unrealistic one. It is also usable by others. Contrary to a previous review, I have never simply fallen off the poseball...you do get knocked off if you hit something solid enough, but it's usually not an issue. The only improvement I would recommend is that the rope be damagable...perhaps if struck a time or two it would disappear, dropping the grappler. But otherwise, a fine piece of work.
Sucks
Sucks for many reasons..
If you get the grapple to work, you climb half way up and then fall off. I tried this on a smallish building to keep it simple. If I aim it above the roof, the grapple will not rez at all, and if I aim it at the gutters, it does rez but then you fall off. Sucks, I say.
