Inspired by Maison Lucile, one of the first global fashion brands. Created by Lady Duff-Gordon in 1893, it attracted clients such as Mary Pickford and the Queen of Spain. Lucy Duff-Gordon was also one of the survivors of the Titanic, and though she and her husband were later charged with bribing crew members to prevent their lifeboat from taking on any more people, they were never found guilty.
