Grasshopper St Poulaines & Pattens - Female Version 1.0
Extremely popular in 15th century Europe, these pointy-toed shoes were known as poulaines or crakows (referring to their origin in Poland). They appeared on the feet of men and women, with extreme length (and impracticality!) being seen as a symbol of wealth and status. Some might even say that the longer the toe, the more masculine the wearer ;)
These shoes had very thin soles, and the streets were an unpleasant slurry of mud and dung. Pattens - wooden overshoes with leather straps - were used to elevate the wearer safely above these hazards and preserve the delicate and expensive poulaines.
There are 8 color options in 6 areas on the poulaines, while the optional pattens come in 8 shades of wood, leather, and metal. All sections are tintable, and all pieces are modifiable. 8 matching tones of BOM hose are included (with historically correct wrinkles!). There is even a linked pair of pattens ready to place by your front door.
This footwear set comes rigged for Belleza Gen.X, eBody Reborn, Legacy, and Maitreya.
