STARTING A GAME
Touch the control sphere and you will be asked if you want to start a game. Say Yes!
The controller will do a scan of nearby avs and present you with a list of the closest ones. Select the number 2 player from that list or you can re-scan.
Next you will be giving a menu of maps. Select the map you want to play.
There is a slight delay as the map data is now read from the map's notecard.
Shortly a menu will open asking you to select the units you wish to use. Select one.
Next you will have to select the start up gold. More gold makes for a longer game with different dynamics. Select the gold option.
The game is now loaded in to the board and player 1, turn 1, begins.
PLAYING A TURN
A turn is not linear. A player is free to perform any action at any time during their turn. Possible actions including buying units, deploying units, making a unit active, moving a unit, starting a combat.
Touch the control sphere to access options. Select Buy Unit and buy some units out of the menu. The menu may list up to 20 units. You can only deploy 6 on a turn so do not buy all your units now. Buy 6 units. You can see your number of un-used units and remaining gold in text above the control sphere.
You can select Info from the control menu to get information about any unit type.
Touch your Base to see the list of units that were sent there from the factory. Select a unit from the menu and then click on an open square next to your base to deploy the unit to the map.
A newly deployed unit can not move and can not shoot until the next turn. You will see this by the black sidebars
