This is an animesh version based on the animated prim version of Guard Model Basic.
About animesh in short.
Animesh objects are objects which have a built in skeleton like the way Avatars have.
Having such skeleton (also rig) makes it possible to animate such object while using the SL animations.
Like avatars, these object can have flexible parts (neck, arms etc) and this makes it look pretty natural.
Animeshes are great but they also have downsides.
PROS AND CONS OF ANIMESH
PROS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Of course they move pretty naturally.
2. They have flexible parts where they move instead of stiff seams
3. You can often load them with your own sl animation.
4. In comparison to my animated prim characters they use less script resources (Script lag).
CONS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. They have a pretty high Land Impact (sort of prim count)
2. To keep the Land Impact low they mostly look less detailed.
3. They are hard to touch (e.g. for a menu), unless they are put in an extra prim box
4. Animations are a client-side feature. They must be loaded to each viewer in the area
The animesh Guard does somewhat the same as its original counterpart.
This means they have sort of the same animations. The land Impact is 44 (!) where its original counterpart has 9.
If you are low on prim capacity at your parcel you might consider to use the original Guard Model Basic.
All scripts are modifiable except one script.
This script is an extra i use in many of my characters to give it extra liveliness.
In general that does not limit you to edit the model as you want.
Can not decide which one to have? Just see them yourself in world.
This is NOT an Avatar. (but you could wear it. It is rigged)
