Thank you for your interest in Gunrunner's Depot 'Guppy' Ship's Boat!
Gig, Pinnace, Launch, all these terms refer to a single type of craft: the Ship's Boat. Typically a small, unarmed vessel capable of carrying multiple passengers as well as a bit of cargo, the Ship's Boat is usually used to ferry crew or goods between a larger vessel and local destinations when it would be undesirable of unnecessary to move the main ship. Such boats have also been pressed into service as light troop carriers, or even armed and used as ad hoc gunships. Civilian versions have been used in roles varying from cargo vans to taxicabs.
The Guppy is representative of the type. Small and nimble, it has space for 7 and the lift capacity for around a ton of cargo. It's unarmed but lightly armored, and would also serve well as an insertion vehicle for small strike teams.
It's a mouselook flier with an afterburner system, which means it's quick and fun to fly. At 24 prims it's lightweight, and should make very little impact scriptwise wherever it's used. The Guppy is ideal as an auxiliary vehicle for a larger vessel, or as an inexpensive personal transport.
