HAYASHI - Japanese theatre musician set - 囃子

Wasenshi Hayashi Noh or Kabuki musical instruments and stage area.

A hayashi (囃子) is a group of musicians who play accompaniment for Japanese Noh or kabuki theatre. The type of instruments the orchestra plays and the order in which they sit on stage are all defined by tradition. The hayashi sit along the rear of the stage and face the audience. The first musician on the left plays a Shimedaiko drum, set on a stand before him. On his right is the Otsuzumi hip drum, followed by the kotsuzumi shoulder drum, and finally the flutes.

All instruments are playable with animations and solo songs, which are controlled by a menu that opens once someone uses the instrument. There is also a master controller in the shape of a Taiko drum that will play 4 full orchestra songs. This can be used with the instruments set to silent "animation only" mode so that it appears as if all the musicians are playing the same song. The 4 full orchestra hayashi songs, plus 12 solo instrument songs, add up to over 45 minutes of music in total!

- Wasenshi Byobu rezzer. Rez 10 different screens for the stage background.
