*********************** So why Dozer? ***********************

Well, Dozer is the online screen name of a very good friend of mine, and for the past couple of years he has been fighting a rare form of Pancreatic Cancer. The initial outlook given him by the Doctors was not the most encouraging but Dozer being Dozer refuses to go down without a fight. In the early days, whilst he still could, he decided on getting a tattoo with a touch of his humour. The tattoo design used here is a replica of one that he wears in real life upon his calf, but his carries the wording of "I will win".

"I will win" is a strong and positive attitude to carry when fighting any disease or illness, but its also a hard one to continue to carry. Dozer is great example of why we do what we do in trying to raise funds for Cancer Research. Without this fund-raising the research couldn't go on, and Dozer would not have been fortunate enough to be entered into a Trial for a rather aggressive treatment programme to target his specific type of Cancer. How far his prospects have increased is unknown right now but everything we do is helping him, and millions like him.

**** Update *** Sadly Dozer lost his fight in the end, almost 6 years after discovery he passed away on January 21st 2021.
